Measuring the air temperature
The device automatically measures the ambient temperature
and the air humidity as soon as the measuring device is swit-
ched on.
The temperature sensor installed in the measuring device con-
tinuously determines the air temperature. The value is always
shown on the display as as a real-time measurement.
Measuring the dew point temperature (dew temp.)
The measuring device calculates the dew point fully automati-
cally on the basis of the determined ambient temperature and
the air humidity.
The warmer the air, the more humidity it can assume. If this
temperature cools down below the dew point, condensation
will occur, becoming visible in moisture misting.
The dew point temperature depends on the air temperature
and the relative air humidity. HPM clima automatically deter-
mines the dew point temperature from said values. The dew
point temperature must not exceed or drop below a limit value
during the curing phase of coats (risk of subsequent comp-
laints). In this event, make sure the ambient temperature is
higher than the dew point temperature shown on the display.
Measuring the relative air humidity (rel. humidity)
The relative air humidity in % indicates how much humidity
the air has assumed at a definite temperature. These values
are also determined in real time and updated automatically,
depending on the ambient conditions.
