Storage

If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long while, store carefully. Ensure that the
appliance is unplugged, cooled down and completely dry. Store the appliance in a cool,
dry place. Wrap the cable of the appliance on the cable wrapping place below the base
unit. Ensure that the appliance is kept out of reach of children.

Troubleshooting

Your appliance is processed via Quality Control against any malfunction.
However if it is not operational due to any reason, ensure that you have tried the
solutions specified in the table below before contacting Fakir Authorized Service.
Error
Not boiling water
It is boiling all the time
Delayed heating
On/off button is not
working.
Possible Cause
Keep warm / boiling button
and on/off button is not on.
There is no water in it. Safety
thermostat is activated
because of lack of water and
device is not operated.
Kettle, keep warm button,
on/off button or power
transmission contacts may
have been damaged.
Lid or teapot is not placed on
the kettle.
Keep warm button is out of
order.
Excessive lime formation on
the kettle base.
Keep warm /Boiling button is
not brought to boiling position
Excessive lime formation on
the kettle base.

Solution
Switch on the keep
warm / boiling button
and on/off button
Wait for the device to
cool down or operate by
adding cold water inside.
Contact authorized
service.
Place the pot on the
kettle.
Contact authorized
service.
Clean the lime inside
the product as stated in
the user manual.
When the on/off button
is in on position, bring
the keep warm button to
boiling position, too.
Clean the lime inside
the product as stated in
the user manual.
