Channel Summary

C hannel S um m ary allows you to custom ize the line-up of channels received by your T V. You can
add or delete channels from the line-up or prevent any unauthorized viewers from watching any or
all 181 channels.

T he C hannel S um m ary screen (above) will now be displayed with the channels set to scan m arked
with an "". You can delete channels from the scan by rem oving the "". If any channels were
m issed during Auto Tuner S etup and you wish to add them , you m ay by placing an "" next to the
channel num ber.

Channel Guard Message
W hen a viewer attem pts to watch a guarded channel, the following m essage appears:
THIS CHANNEL IS LOCKED BY
CHANNEL GUARD.
PLEASE ENTER LOCK CODE BY
10 KEY PAD TO UNLOCK IT.
• O nce a channel has been unlocked, it will rem ain unlocked until the television is turned off.

To watch a channel that you have locked,
enter the Lock C ode using the 10 key pad.
If the wrong code is entered, the m essage
"IN V ALID LO C K C O D E !" will flash on the
screen:
T he channel cannot be accessed until the
correct code is entered.
