Products sold in GB only: Your lawnraker is fitted
with an approved 13 A (BS1363/A) electric plug
and is protected by a 3 A fuse (ASTA Approved to
BS 1362).
If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket out-
lets, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fit-
ted in its place.
The severed plug must be disposed of to avoid a
possible shock hazard and should never be inserted
into a 13 A socket elsewhere.
Assembly
Fix the handle bottom 6 to the body of the mower
using pivot pins 12 . Ensure that the pivot covers 11
are fitted to the handle bottom 6 . (figure A )
Attach the handle top 1 with the bolts and the wing
nuts to the handle assembly.
Note: Ensure that the cable clips supplied are used
to fix the cable to the handle, as in figure A .
Attach cable to cable restraint 5 as in figure B en-
suring that sufficient cable slack is available. (For
products not sold in GB)
Grassbox/bag
Attach/remove the grassbox as shown in figure C .
Ensure the cable is not trapped when folding/un-
folding top handle. Do not drop the handles.
Adjusting the Cutting Height
(Figure D)
The lawnraker can be set to several operating
heights. For this purpose,
lever 9 outward then
move up or down to the
desired raking height while supporting the weight of
the lawnraker with the other hand.
Depending on grass height and conditions set scar-
ifying/raking height as shown:
= tougher material
= lighter material

Starting and Stopping (Figure E)
The tines continues to rotate for a few sec-
onds after the machine is switched off. Allow
the motor/tines to stop rotating before
switching "on" again.
Do not rapidly switch off and on.
To aid starting push handle down to lift front
wheels.
Starting:
Press and hold the safety button 3 .
Squeeze the switch lever 2 towards
the handle.

Release the safety button 3 .

Stopping:
Release the switch lever 2.
pull the height of rake

Leaves
Thatch
Twigs
etc.
