Also, check any connected devices. If you can't solve the problem, ask your nearest Pioneer authorized service center or your dealer to carry out
repair work.
! The unit may not work properly if it's subjected to static electricity or other external influences. In this case, you may be able to restore proper
operation by turning off the power, disconnecting the power cord, connecting the power cable again, and then turning the power back on.
Power supply
Problem
The unit doesn't turn on.
The indicators don't light up.
The power suddenly turns off.
Audio output
Problem
Sound isn't output, or sound is too
small.
Sound is distorted.
Sound isn't output, or the output
sound is distorted or noise occurs.
Microphone sound isn't output or the
volume is low.
Sound is distorted when a turntable
is connected to the [PHONO] input
terminals of the unit.
Or, lighting of the channel level
indicator doesn't change when the
[TRIM] knob is turned.
Display
Problem
Playing address isn't displayed in the
remaining time display.
The category isn't displayed.
The scale isn't displayed.
The enlarged waveform isn't
displayed.
The unit doesn't respond when the
screen is touched, or the response
is poor. The detected position is
different from the position actually
touched.
Check
Is the power cord properly connected?
Is the [u] switch turned on?
Is the Auto Standby function activated?
(When the Auto Standby function is activated, the
[MASTER REC (WAKE UP)] button is lit in red.)
Check
Is the input selector switch set to the proper
position?
Are the [TRIM] knob, channel faders, crossfader
and [MASTER LEVEL] knob set to the proper
positions?
Is the [MASTER LEVEL] knob set to the proper
position?
Is the [TRIM] knob set to the proper position?
Is the level of sound input to the [MIC 1] or
[MIC 2] input terminal set to an appropriate level?
Is the unit placed near a TV?
Is the [MIC LEVEL] knob set to the proper
position?
Is the switch on the unit or the microphone turned
off?
Is a turntable with a built-in phono equalizer
connected to the unit?
Is an audio interface for a PC/Mac connected
between the turntable and the unit?

Is the rekordbox library information stored on the
USB device?
Is the USB device write-protected?
Is the track over 15 minutes long?
Is the track over 60 minutes long?
Deviation in touch display calibration.
Remedy
Connect the power cord to an AC outlet. (page 12 )
Turn on the [u] switch.
The Auto Standby function is activated as the default setting. If you don't want
to use the Auto Standby function, select [OFF] for [AUTO STANDBY] on the
[UTILITY] screen.
Remedy
Select different input source using the input selector switch.
Set the [TRIM] knob, channel faders, crossfader and [MASTER LEVEL] knob
to the proper positions. (page 15 )
Adjust the [MASTER LEVEL] knob so that the master level indicator lights
around [0 dB] at the peak level.
Set [ATT.] of [MASTER OUT] on the [UTILITY] screen to [-6 dB] or [-12 dB].
Adjust the [TRIM] knob so that the channel level indicator lights up in orange at
the highest volume. (page 15 )
Set the [MIC LEVEL] knob to the proper position.
Turn the TV off, or place the unit farther away from the TV.
Set the [MIC LEVEL] knob to the proper position.
Turn the switch on.
When using a turntable with a built-in phono equalizer, connect it to the [LINE]
input terminals. (page 12 )
If the turntable with a built-in phono equalizer has a LINE, PHONO selector
switch, set it to PHONO.
If the audio interface for a PC/Mac has a line level output, connect it to the
[LINE] input terminals. (page 12 )
If the turntable has a LINE, PHONO selector switch, set it to PHONO.
Remedy
Playing address may take time to be displayed for files recorded in VBR. This
happens when it takes time for the unit to detect the length of the track and
display the playing address.
Use a device containing the library information exported from rekordbox.
Disable write-protection on the USB device to make it writable.
The scale isn't displayed for tracks whose playing time is over 15 minutes.
The enlarged waveform isn't displayed for tracks whose playing time is over
60 minutes.
Adjust touch screen detection with the [TOUCH DISPLAY CALIBRATION]
settings on the [UTILITY] screen.
