Navigating the App
To refresh the App:
• Pull down the 'Activity' screen (similarly to refreshing your email).
• OR Close the App window and restart the app.
• OR Log out of the App and log in back.
To assign a cat's name to a visit:
• Navigate to the 'Activity' screen.
• Tap on a green bar "Which cat was this?"
• Tap on a desired choice.
To help Tailio track multiple cats:
• If your cats have significantly different weights:
o You need to assign just two litter box visits to each cat (see above).
o You don't need to know exact weights of your cats, just their relative weights
(which one is the largest, or smallest).
o If you don't know your cats' weights, you can place each cat in the litter
Tailio device*, and assign this cat's name to the visit that will appear shortly on the
Activity screen.
• If the weights of two of your cats are same or very close, you will need to assign at least six
litter box visits to each cat. These visits don't have to be back to back after each other;
anytime you notice which cat is leaving the box, pls assign this cat to the visit.

To accurately capture your cat's weight please make sure:
✓ The Tailio device is undisturbed for at least 20 seconds before putting the cat on it.
✓ The cat stays in the litter box/on the device for at least 20 seconds.
✓ The Tailio device remains undisturbed for at least 30 seconds after the cat left.
To generate a cat data report that you can share with your vet via email:
• On the Dashboard: tap on a desired cat.
• On the cat's screen: tap on 'Report' in right upper corner.
• To enter or edit your vet email address:
o Navigate to the More screen.
o Tap on 'Edit Vet Info'.
To view the cat- and device-related alerts:
• Tap on 'Inbox'
To customize cat alerts:
• Tap on a cat's name on the 'Dashboard'
• Tap on 'Activity' on the right underneath cat's picture on the cat's screen
• Tap on 'Customize Alerts' at the bottom of the cat's activity screen
To view the litter box cleaning info and stats:
• Tap on Tailio device / litter box name under 'Devices'
