After you've installed Tailio App on your smartphone and created your user account
Turn ON your Tailio device
1. Carefully remove your Tailio device and its accessories from the package.
2. Plug the power adapter 's round plug (supplied with your Tailio device) into the device's power
jack (shown below) – Blue and Orange lights should turn ON for a few seconds.
3. If the Orange light flashes once and then remains ON solid after the Blue light turns OFF, please
plug the power adapter and let the on-board charger to charge the batteries for at least 30 minutes;
pls note that it takes three hours to fully recharge the batteries.
Note that Tailio is a 2.4 GHz device and requires that your Wi-Fi router's SSID won't be hidden, 2.4 GHz,
20 MHz band enabled, and have WEP, WPA, or WPA2 (recommended) encryption enabled.

Once the power is turned ON, both the Blue and Orange Tailio lights will turn ON, and then OFF
after a few seconds. The Green light will turn ON and stay lit when the device is ready to be
configured and will turn OFF after the device setup is successfully completed.
Put Tailio Device in Setup Mode
1. Hold the Tailio Wi-Fi button for 2 seconds then release.
2. The Blue Light will flash to indicate that the Tailio is in Device Setup Mode.
Set aside your Tailio Device and Return to your phone. You have 10 minutes to enter your
network credentials before the device returns to normal operating mode.
Tailio app will guide you through the steps below:
Add your Tailio device/s to the account
1. Tap 'More' tap at the bottom menu.
2. Tap 'Add Tailio Device'.
3. Follow instructions on setup screens.

    To accurately capture your cat’s weight please make sure: ✓ The Tailio device is undisturbed for at least 20 seconds before putting the cat on it. ✓ The cat stays in the litter box/on the device for at least 20 seconds.
