9.5    Blocking the machine
Apply the tractor's handbrake so that it cannot roll away.
Work may only be carried out under a raised machine if the machine has been properly
supported.
Before carrying out maintenance work or changing the machine's settings, it must have
come to a complete standstill. The tractor's engine must be switched off and the key must
have been removed from the ignition.
Be aware of residual mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical energy present in the
machine.
The machine may come to a halt because it is full, or because of stones or other obstacles.
To prevent damage to the transmission, the PTO drive shaft is fitted with an overload protection
device.
A rattling noise is heard when the torque limiter is engaged.
1.
Immediately disengage the PTO drive shaft
2.
Raise the machine fully out of the ground.
3.
Place the support legs under the machine
4.
Place the machine on the ground and turn off the tractor engine.
5.
Remove the obstacle from the ground or the machine.
6.
Start tilling on the newly prepared section of soil.
