LOG INSTALLATION FOR SL-32, SL-32S AND SL-32GDV

1. Remove trim door and glass.

2. Unpack all the logs. There should be 5 logs total. See Figure 2.

CAUTION: LOGS ARE FRAGILE; BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING.

3. Alternately place a single layer of dime size and shape pieces of Golden Ember (GE-93) and Glowing Ember

(050-721) onto the top of the burner.

Page 2 4. Place Log #1 on burner. The left side of the log should be against the pilot bracket, tab 1 and tab 2. The right side of the log should be against the tab1 on the burner. See Figure 2. Once in place push down onto tab 2. FIGURE 2 5.
Page 3 7. Place Log #4 such that the narrow end is against the back left corner of the firebox, bark side up. The log should extend over the pilot and rest on logs #1. See Figure 5. FIGURE 5 8. Place Log #5 onto logset such that it extends from log #1 to the refractory.
