IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances,
basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions before use.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles
or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do
not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in
water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when
any appliance is used by or near
children.
5. Always unplug from outlet when not in
use, before putting on or taking off
parts, before removing food from bowl
and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp
plug and pull from electric outlet. Never
pull cord.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug. If the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in
any manner, return the appliance to the
nearest authorized service center for
inspection, repair, or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or injury to
persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.

surfaces or hang over edge of table or
counter where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintentionally.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or
electric burner, or in a heated oven or in
a microwave oven.
11. Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.
12. BLADES ARE SHARP. HANDLE
CAREFULLY.
13. Do not use pusher assembly if sleeve
becomes detached from pusher.
14. To avoid injury, never place cutting blade
or disc on base without first putting the
bowl properly in place.
15. Keep hands, spatulas, and other utensils
away from moving blades or discs while
processing food to prevent the possibility
of sever personal injury or damage to the
food processor. A plastic scraper may be
used but must only be used when the
food processor is not running.
16. To protect against risk of electrical
shock, do not put base in water or other
liquid.
17. Avoid contact with moving parts. Never
insert food by hand when slicing or
shredding. Always use food pusher.
18. Make sure motor has completely
stopped before removing the lid.
If the machine does not stop instantly
when you turn the lid, do not use the
