Adjusting the flat chisel position

WARNING!
RISK OF INJURY!
► Hold the machine
firmly to adjust the flat
chisel.
► The flat chisel can
become very hot
during operation.
Allow the flat chisel to
cool down and wear
gloves when adjusting
the flat chisel.
1. Disconnect the plug
2. Put the machine on hard surface, use one
hand to hold the chisel adjustment collar
(7) and push forward, use another hand
to hold the flat chisel (11) and rotate to
required position.
3. Release the chisel adjustment collar (7) to
lock the flat chisel (11).

WARNING!
RISK OF INJURY!
► The chisel can jam
during operation
and this can transfer
powerful force into
both handles. Always
ensure that you are
standing securely and
have a firm grip on
both handles during
operation.
► Ensure that machine
is switched off before
plugging it in.
Do not apply excessive
pressure when
operation which
can create powerful
resistance force on
both handles.
Preselecting the stroke rate (Fig. A, E)
1. Switch off the machine and wait until the
machine stop completely.
2. Rotate the speed dial (4) up and down
within range 1 to 6 (1 – lowest stroke
rate 20 bpm, 6 – highest stroke rate
2100 bpm) to select the required stroke
rate.
3. Switch on to check the stroke rate.
