Operating the Corkscrew
1. Place the bottle to be opened on a level
surface and position the wine opener on the
top of the bottle. Make sure the wine opener
is placed straight on the bottle neck.
2. Hold the bottle firmly with one hand and
push the upper part of the button
to operate the wine opener. The corkscrew
(7) will start turning in order to gradually
unscrew the cork from the bottle neck.
3. To remove the cork from the wine opener,
now push the lower part of the button
until the cork is removed from the unit. The
corkscrew mechanism will stop automatical-
ly as soon as the cork is fully removed from
the bottle.
Hint: When using the wine opener for
removing synthetic corks you have to press the wine opener more firmly on
the bottle neck. Synthetic corks are smaller and do not expand when removed
therefore it might be a little bit difficult to remove such corks.
Cleaning
Preferably, clean the housing of the wine opener with a dry or lightly
moistened cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or any other fluids.
Do not use any metallic or sharp tools as this could damage the surface of the
unit.
