3.6.4. Use

With the Use function you can define whether the air pressure measurement is used
to set the altitude or to represent the weather conditions. (For more information, see
chapter 3.3.2. Use.)

4. EXAMPLES OF SUUNTO S6 USAGE

This chapter describes three ideal situations in which you can use your Suunto S6.
These instructions are described very briefly and should be used when you have
familiarized yourself with Suunto S6 more thoroughly. More detailed instructions for
each procedure can be found in the earlier chapters.

4.1. ORDINARY SKIING/SNOWBOARDING DAY

Before the start
1. Scroll to the Skiing mode.
2. Set the Reference altitude.
3. Set the logbook interval to 10s or 60s.
4. Start the logbook.
During the day
1. Save lap times in the logbook with the Start button.
2. View the shortcuts on the bottom row (total vertical/Elapsed time/Time).
After the day
1. Stop the logbook.
2. View the logbook information.
3. Transfer the logbook information to the Ski Manager for more detailed inspection.
