SkiChrono with a fixed slope angle
Suunto S6 remembers the previous slope angle that you locked with Start. It is
shown on reversed background.
You need the fixed slope angle when you want to use the previously measured
slope angle for your next run.
Normal Chrono: 0.00,0
This is a stopwatch that you can use for timing events without using the speed
and slope angle measurement.
Bottom row after activating the SkiChrono/Chrono function
In the SkiChrono mode, it displays the real-time average speed from the start of the
run. It is based on the slope angle measured before the activation and on the
vertical speed measured with the altimeter.
In the Chrono mode, it displays the time of the current lap, i.e. the time from the point
when the previous split/lap time was saved. To save a split/lap time, go to Chrono
and press Start. When you save a split/lap, the time freezes for 3 seconds and
then continues.
Bottom Row after stopping the SkiChrono/Chrono function
In the SkiChrono mode it displays the average and the top speed recorded during
the run.
In the Chrono mode it displays the last Lap time.
NOTE: To change between SkiChrono and Chrono with a short press of Stop/CL,
you first need to reset the previous timing with a long press of Stop/CL.
