This is most practical for fast screening of patients, as the transducer must be supported all the time.

    MANUAL MODE Chap. 4 GN Otometrics ZODIAC 901 Middle-Ear Analyzer TYMPANOMETRY 4.1 TYMPANOMETRY Tympanometry is the measurement of the variation of the compliance (or immittance) of the eardrum and the ossicular chain by means of con- trolled changes in static pressure. A graphic plot of these parameters is called a tympanogram.
