6. Operation
6.1
Switching on
Briefly press the
light up for a short period of time. The reader is operational as soon as the "ON" button lights up.
6.2
Testing
Position the LifeCheck

lights up for about 2 seconds. The damaged protection mo-
dule should be replaced to further ensure system availability.
After successfully completing the test, the module can be

plugged back into the base part.
6.3
Switching off
Press the

the device is switched off automatically if no tests are performed for about 3 minutes.
6.4
Charging
The reader should be charged as soon as the green "ON" LED starts to flash.
The device is connected to the mains socket via the supplied power supply unit and USB cable. If
a USB connection of a PC is used for charging the device, ensure that it has an output current of
at least 500 mA.
As long as the integrated battery is being charged, the yellow
