Installing the Sun Fire 4810 System into a Sun Fire Cabinet The Sun Fire 4810 system is designed to be mounted in a rack. All the hardware necessary to mount the system in a Sun Fire cabinet enclosure is included in the shipping carton.
Mounting the Brackets 1. Mount the four system brackets vertically onto the Sun Fire 4810 system using five screws each. Mount the brackets so that they extend beyond the front and rear of the system. the system brackets are identical so they can be mounted on either side of the Sun Fire 4810 system (FIGURE 1-1).

Note – Refer to the Rackmount Placement Matrix, at http://docs.sun.com for power cord cabling information. Caution – The Sun Fire 4810 system weighs approximately 305 lbs (138.3 kg). To prevent personal injury, two people are needed to move the system safely into the cabinet using a computer equipment lift.
Note – In a dual RTU configuration, there will be power switches in both the front and rear of the cabinet. All power switches must be turned off. 2. Ensure that each power switch on the Sun Fire 4810 system is set to off FIGURE 1-5 3.
