    Preface The Sun Fire™ 4810/4800/3800 Systems Cabinet Mounting Guide provides installation instructions for mounting the Sun Fire 4810, Sun Fire 4800, and Sun Fire 3800 systems into a Sun Fire cabinet. These instructions are not for mounting these systems in industry standard 19-inch racks.

    Installing the Sun Fire 4810 System into a Sun Fire Cabinet The Sun Fire 4810 system is designed to be mounted in a rack. All the hardware necessary to mount the system in a Sun Fire cabinet enclosure is included in the shipping carton.

    Mounting the Brackets 1. Mount the four system brackets vertically onto the Sun Fire 4810 system using five screws each. Mount the brackets so that they extend beyond the front and rear of the system. the system brackets are identical so they can be mounted on either side of the Sun Fire 4810 system (FIGURE 1-1).

To prevent personal injury, two people are needed to move the system safely into the cabinet using a computer equipment lift.
