Zipper foot
. To Snap on the Zipper Foot
Fit lhe pin on the zipper foot into the groove on the
foot holder.
* To sew the left side ot the zipper, attach the
zipper foot on the right-hand side.
* To sew the right side of the zipper, attach the
zipper foot on the left-hand side.

. Fabric Preparation
O Right side of fabric

Place right sides of fabric together and sew to the
end of the zipper opening QJ.
Reverse stitch to lock the stitches. Increase stitch
length to 4 and set top thread tension at 0.
Sew the zipper opening with the basting stitch.
. To Sew:
O Zipper teeth
@ zipper tape
@ Wrong side of fabric
E Fold backthe left seam allowance. Turn under
the right seam allowance to form a 1/8"(0.2 to
0,3 cm ) fold. Place the zipper teeth O next to
this fold and pin in place.
E Attach the zipper foot with the pin of the foot on
the right-hand side.
Lower the zipper ioot on the top side at the
bottom of lhe zipper so that the needle pierces
the fabric ne)d to the fold and the zippertape @.
Sew through all layers next to the fold.
