The tripping blocks and rated operational current must be
set on all trip blocks PKE-XTU(A)-...
With trip blocks PKE-XTUA-... operational data, such as
currents and trip causes can also be transmitted to a higher-
level fieldbus system through SmartWire-DT. This does not
affect motor protection.

Combinations approved for protecting Ex e motors are
PKE12 and PKE32 with trip units PKE-XTU-....
PKE with trip units PKE-XTUA-... can not be used for
protecting Ex e motors.
