Ensure that the safety lights and chain are hooked up. Great Plains hydraulic hoses have colored coded han- dle grips to help hook up hoses to the tractor remotes. Hoses with the same color use the same remote.

Hydraulic Leveling Fore and Aft: Fore/Aft leveling in the field should be done with the hydraulic level (if equipped), otherwise use the hitch turnbuckle for adjustment. 1) With the hitch turnbuckle set, the fore/aft can be adjusted hydraulically to compensate for differing field conditions.

(Old) Disc Scraper Adjustment: 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) Prior to first use, and periodically thereafter, inspect all gap min. disc scrapers for proper gap and adjust as needed. Reverse scraper blades when the specific adjustment is no longer possible. Replace the scrapers when 1/8 inch either side can no longer be adjusted to the proper (3.2 mm)
