Continue with the spudger to pry the dock port

assembly off of the adhesive securing it to the
motherboard.
You can now remove the dock port assembly from
•
the HTC Windows Phone 8X.
Locate and remove the seven Phillips screws (#00)
•
that hold the protective shield on the phone. The
shield protects all the goodies inside. Remove the
shield from the HTC phone.
Locate the next FPC locking socket that you can flip
•
up. Unlock and release the ribbon cable to remove
the power button from the top of the HTC Windows
Phone 8X.
