Dispense out some colorant (1ml) periodically (every 5 days) to avoid the nozzle becoming dry and hard. Otherwise, disconnect the power supply, pour the colorant into clean(or corresponding) canister, and clean the container to avoid the colorant becoming dry in the pump.
