Service Check
1.
With power on, check that the drive belt is
centered on the hub pulley and the drive pulley.
2.
If the drive belt is not centered, adjust the belt.
Adjustment
1.
Turn off the IPO switch.
2.
Loosen the idler locking screw
II
and the drive
pulley setscrew
II.
3.
Slide the idler assembly
II
and the drive pulley
II
in or out so the belt is centered on the hub pulley
. . and the drive pulley when the drive pulley is
turned counterclockwise.
4.
Tighten the idler locking screw
II
and the drive
pulley setscrew
II.
Ensure that the drive pulley
setscrew is aligned to the flat surface of the motor
shaft.
5.
Turn on the IPO switch.
6.
Perform the belt tracking service check.
