9. Connection

a) Electric Connection

The mains socket to which the mains unit is connected must be close to the device and easily accessible
to quickly separate the mains adapter from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Ensure that the voltage indication on the mains adapter matches the mains voltage of your power supply.
Never try to operate the mains unit with any other voltage.
Be careful when handling mains adapters and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause potentially
fatal electric shock.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the mains adapter to the DC IN mains adapter socket (13).
• Plug the mains adapter into a wall socket.

b) Connection of Additional Devices

Connection of External Devices
• You can connect an amplifier or active speaker boxes to the LINE OUT (14) connection if necessary. Connect the
audio input of your external device to the LINE OUT (14) connection.
• If the plug of the external device does not fit, you can use a matching adapter.
If an external device is connected, the volume of this device can be set with its volume controller. The
playback volume on the speaker integrated in the internet radio can still be adjusted with the volume control
on the internet radio.
Connection of an external audio source
• If necessary, you can connect the AUX IN (15) connection to an audio device, the output signal of which is then
played back via the speaker integrated in the internet radio.
• Connect the audio output of your external device to the AUX IN (15) connection.
• If the plug of the external device does not fit, you can use a matching adapter.
• Switch on the external device and start playback. You need to switch the internet radio to mode "AUX" for playback.
