After confirmation of the Menus turn the Power Switch off.
4. Adjustment Procedure
Refer to the Location of the Test Points and
Adjusting Controls on the page 23.
(1). FSC Frequency Adjustment
Test Point:
TP409 (FSC)
Adjust:
CT691 (FSC)
Turn the Power Switch off.
Disconnect all input signals from the WJ-FS216.
Connect the Frequency Counter to TP409 and TP113
(GND).
Turn the Power Switch on while pressing the Cursor ( )
button, the Character Selection Cursor (+) button and SET
button simultaneously, enter the Adjustment Mode A and
all LEDs on the Front Panel are lit, and display the
Adjustment Menu as shown in Fig. 4-1.

Adjust CT691 to obtain 13.500000 MHz ± 18 Hz.
(2). Encoder Section Adjustment
Test Point:
Recording Output Connector
Adjust:
VR401 (BURST)
VR402 (BORDER)
By pressing the CHANNEL SELECT 2 Switch, enter the
Adjustment Mode B and all LEDs on the Front Panel are
lit, and display the Adjustment Menu B as shown in Fig. 4-
2.

Connect the terminated Oscilloscope with 75Ω to the
Recording Output Connector on the Rear Panel.
Adjust VR401 so that the Burst signal level becomes 300
± 15 mVp-p as shown in Fig. 4-3.
Adjust VR402 so that the Border signal level becomes 700
± 15 mVp-p as shown in Fig. 4-3.
Confirm that the Sync signal level becomes 300 ± 30
mVp-p as shown in Fig. 4-3.

(3). G/L PLL DC Level Adjustment
Test Point:
TP410 (PLL DC-1)
TP115 (PLL DC-2)
Adjust:
L402 (PLL DC-1)
CT692 (PLL DC-2)
Press CHANNEL SELECT 1 Switch.
Supply the Ramp signal to the Camera Input Connectors
1 on the Rear Panel.
Connect the Oscilloscope to TP410.
Set the Input Selector of the Oscilloscope to DC Mode.
Adjust L402 to obtain 2.0 ± 0.3 V DC.
Change the connection of the Oscilloscope to TP115.
Adjust CT692 to obtain 2.7 ± 0.1 V DC.
