HOW TO INSTALL THE PRESTIGE KITCHEN HOOD For easy installation of the kitchen hood, please follow the procedure given below. Please ensure that the installation work is undertaken by a qualified and competent technician. The company will not be responsible for any damage and injury caused as a result of incorrect installation.

• Insert rawl plugs into the hole. • Fix the wall bracket provided with the help of the screws provided rigidly. Ensure that screws are fixed properly to take the load of the kitchen hood • Then hang the kitchen hood such that the slots provided in the hood goes inside the hook on the mounting bracket. • Then insert the flexible Aluminium pipe into the groove provided on the reduction flange. The flexible Aluminium pipe is also expandable and can be extended and bent to take the pipe till the outlet of the kitchen. • Ensures to place the end cover, which will help prevent rats and birds to enter inside the chimney.

High Speed: High Speed should be selected when frying or cooking food with strong odours even for a long period. You may get little more noise at this speed but the suction capacity is also highest. Operating the lights • The Prestige kitchen hood is provided with energy saving 2 LED lamps to provide better illumination in the cooking area. These can be switched on by touching the “ ”button.

Auto Clean Function • Your Prestige Kitchen Hood comes with a unique auto cleaning function. The kitchen hood is equipped with a oil collector tray. During cooking, the oil and dirt which gets sucked in to the kitchen hood gets drained in this tray, However, over time, some traces of oil and dirt gets stuck in the kitchen hood. In order to clean this stubborn oil and dirt, the kitchen hood is provided with a Auto Clean mechanism How to use the “Auto Clean” function • A Plastic container with a long spout is provided along with the kitchen hood to fill the water tank of the kitchen hood. Open the cap provided on the top centre of the glass and fill the water tank with clean water. Do not overfill the tank as the overflowed water can cause damage to the kitchen hood. Please fill water with the provided accessory to avoid spliiage of water. • Touch the On/Delay “ ” button. The kitchen hood will enter standby mode. • Now touch the Auto Clean “ ” button. A reverse timer of 50 seconds will get activated and the auto clean indicator will start blinking. • The fan of the kitchen hood will start operating at slow speed and a special motor in the kitchen hood will force the water in the inner chamber of the kitchen hood.

Important • Do not connect the hood to chimneys, ventilation pipes or hot air pipes. • Be sure there is adequate ventilation, even in case where the hood is to be used simultaneously with another product. • Before connecting to the mains supply ensure that the main voltage corresponds with the voltage on the rating plate inside the hood. • When installed the hood must be positioned 650 mm Min. and 750 mm Max. above the cooking appliance. • Never do flambé cooking under this kitchen hood. • Never leave frying food unattended since grease can overheat and catch fire. The risk of fire is even greater in case of used oil. • Do not have a lighted flame under the hood. Switch ON the hood only after placing the cooking vessel on the heat source. • Never leave frying pans unattended during use as overheated fats and oils may catch fire. •...
USE AND CARE TIPS FOR YOUR PRESTIGE KITCHEN HOOD Regular maintenance and cleaning will ensure good performance and reliability, while extending the working life of the hood. The effectiveness of the kitchen hood also depends on the cleanliness of the filters. • While cleaning the hood, do not use a wet cloth or sponge or running water. It can be wiped with damp cloth and cleaned immediately with a soft dry cloth. • Do not use abrasive cleaning materials when cleaning as it may scratch the surface. • The glass surface can be cleaned using soft detergent or liquid soap for removing the grease and other stains. Please use only soft cloth to prevent scratches. Do not pour water on the glass surface immediately after cooking, as the glass may be hot.

WARRANTY TTK Prestige Limited (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) warrants to the purchaser of “Prestige Kitchen Hood”, {hereinafter referred to as “Kitchen Hood”} that the Kitchen Hood is free from all defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is for life time (the life of the Kitchen Hood is 10 years, from the date of purchase), against inherent manufacturing defects and subject to the following terms and conditions:- 1. The Kitchen Hood should be installed by the Purchaser within 30 days from the date of Purchase, only by the Authorised Service Centre or the Regional Service Centre of the Company. The list of Company’s Regional Service Centres/Authorised Service Centres, is listed in the User’s Manual. 2. At the time of installation of the Kitchen Hood by the Company’s Regional Service Centre / Authorized Service Centre, a unique Lifetime Warranty “LTW” number, would be allocated to the Purchaser. 3. The Life time warranty covers only the Motor, Blower, PCB and Switches, of the Kitchen Hood. 4. All other parts of the Kitchen Hood, such as filter, lamp, glass, plastic parts, and body are not covered under the life time warranty, as these parts are subject to wear and tear and needs replacement from time to time, depending on the usage. 5. To avail the benefits of Lifetime Warranty, the customer has to indicate the LTW number (so allotted to the Purchaser by the Company), and to produce the Original Purchase Invoice, to the Company’s Regional Service Centre / Authorized Service Centre.

9. Services such as inspection and/or cleaning of Kitchen Hood will always be chargeable to the Purchaser even during first 2 years. 10. A fter initial 2 Years from the date of Purchase of the Kitchen Hood, the visit and service will be on chargeable basis as per the charges specified by the company. However parts covered under Life time warranty such as Motor, Blower, PCB and switches will be replaced / rectified free of cost and all other parts will be rectified/ replaced on chargeable basis. 11. T he Purchaser shall maintain the Kitchen Hood, strictly in accordance with the instructions, mentioned in User’s Manual. The Lifetime warranty stands terminated, if it is found that the Kitchen Hood is not maintained / serviced as per the instructions, contained in the User’s Manual. 12. T he Company shall make all endeavor’s/attempts to carry out the service/replacement under this warranty at the earliest, but shall not be liable to do so within any specified time. 13. T he warranty will continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the original warranty, with respect to any repair/replacement of parts of the Kitchen Hood. ( Total warranty commences from the actual date of purchase of the Kitchen Hood, as per Purchase invoice ) 14. T he Kitchen Hood shall be used strictly for domestic purposes, in accordance with the User’s Manual. 15. T he Company shall not be held liable for any accident, loss or damage (direct or indirect) to person or property and/or the Warranty would be Invalid under the following amongst circumstances:- a) If Installation of the Kitchen Hood is not done by the Company Regional Service Centre of the Authorised...

e) Defects caused by improper/reckless use. f) Use of spurious spares/old, non-genuine spares. g) Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the User’s Manual. h) Original serial number of the Kitchen Hood is deleted/defaced or altered. 16. T he warranty does not cover damages due to negligence, mishandling which may lead to breakage of filters and dents on stainless steel body. 17. T he Company shall not be responsible for any special consequential damages or loss arising directly or indirectly for any delay in the performance of this warranty. 18. T he Company reserves the right to retain any part or component at the Regional Service Centre/branches or Authorized Service Centre or at its workshop and shall effect Repairs/Replacement of parts or components at its sole discretion. 19. D uring the validity of the Term of this Warranty, the Company shall at its sole discretion repair or replace the Kitchen Hood. 20. Notwithstanding anything, the Purchaser agrees that, the liability of the Company, under this Warranty, shall in no case, exceed the price of the Kitchen Hood, paid by the Purchaser, at the time of his/her Purchase. 21. I n case of complaint/disputes, in terms of this Warranty, only competent Court/s at Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction. 22. E lectrical appliances, wire points need regular check up by an authorized service person. 23. E lectrical appliances are prone to voltage fluctuation risks, therefore precaution should be taken before use. Company shall not be responsible for any damage to electrical parts, viz. coil, motor etc. arising out of this problem. 24. The decision of the company is final in all cases of dispute.
