Trouble-shooting
The motor has a status LED integrated into its cover. The LED will stay on constantly during normal
operation and stay off when there is no power to the motor. In fault condition, the LED will flash in
multiple sequences. Please refer to Vent-Axia Technical Support for more information should this occur.
Servicing & Maintenance
WARNING: THE FAN AND ANCILLARY CONTROL EQUIPMENT MUST BE
1. At intervals appropriate to the installation, the fan should be inspected and cleaned to ensure there is
no build-up of grease, dirt or other deposits.
The EKF control connections include a
24V output & D1 input. The D1 input
requires 24V for the fan motor to run. This
is used to enable the ON/OFF switching
through terminals 1 & 6 of the controller.
