CAUTION:
The Forward Error Correction (FEC) modes include BASE-R, NONE, and RS-FEC. You must
configure the same FEC mode for the two interfaces of a link.
• To use a 25G copper cable with a length of 1 m (3.28 ft) or 3 m (9.84 ft), you can configure the
BASE-R, NONE, or RS-FEC mode for the two interfaces of the link.
• To use a 25G copper cable of equal to or longer than 5 m (16.40 ft), you can configure only the
RS-FEC mode for the two interfaces of the link.

for the device.
