Storage

Proper procedure for long term storage of the Bon
Floor Stripper will protect it against the effects of
corrosion and damage. If the Bon Floor Stripper is not
to be operated for a period of 30 days or more,
proceed to store as follows:
1) Never store the Bon Floor Stripper with the blade
or ceramic tile ripper attachment installed. Remove
the blade or ceramic tile ripper attachment from the
Bon Floor Stripper per the procedures outlined in this
manual.
Do not store the Bon Floor Stripper with the

property damage and/or personal injury.
2) Clean all accumulated foreign material from the
Bon Floor Stripper utilizing an appropriate safety sol-
vent.
Observe all applicable safety precautions for
the solvent.
3) Check all visible parts for wear, breakage or dam-
age. Order any part required to make the necessary
repair. This will avoid a needless delay when operat-
ing the Bon Floor Stripper at next use.
4) Apply a dry film lubricant to all exposed metal
components to prevent rust.
5) Block the bottom of the main frame to prevent
machine weight against the exciter plate. This
procedure will reduce impact loads to the elastomeric
rubber mounts, minimize deflection and increase
service life.
6) Store the Bon Floor Stripper inside. If the Bon
Floor Stripper must be stored outside, protect it with a
suitable covering.
