4.4 Detecting Frequency
If the tested fiber is carrying a 2 kHz, 1 kHz, or 270 Hz modulated wave, the
respective modulation indicator lights and the identifier makes a buzzing sound.

NOTE: The identifier might not recognize the frequency correctly if the signal is
too weak or the frequency is not stable.
