If you do not want to fit a descaling
cartridge, the system must be sealed
with the plug.
 Insert the plug in place of the
cartridge.

Maintenance timer

You can select the start time for the
automatic maintenance programmes
under Maintenance timer.
Please note that the automatic
maintenance programmes require
approx. 2.5 hours. For this reason, it is
best to set an evening time or a regular
time during which you do not use the
machine.
You can set various start times for the
weekend and the week from Monday to
Friday.
Setting the Maintenance timer
The drinks menu is displayed.
 Touch the  sensor.
 Select
Settings
 Select
Maintenance timer
 Change the settings as required and
confirm with OK.
Automatic cleaning and descaling
and then Timer .

The start time is saved. The automatic
maintenance programmes will start at
the required start time from now on.
Cancelling automatic cleaning
and descaling
You can cancel the automatic cleaning
programme during the activation phase.
You can cancel automatic cleaning
twice to continue making drinks. If
automatic cleaning fails to be carried
out three times in succession, the
brew unit must be degreased and/or
the milk pipework must be cleaned the
next time the machine is switched on.
Automatic descaling can be cancelled
as often as you like. You would then
need to descale the coffee machine
manually using the descaling tablets
(see "Cleaning and care - Descaling
the appliance").
 Touch the On/Off  sensor.
The time left in hours is shown in the
display.
Cancelling automatic maintenance
 Touch
Cancel .
The cleaning or descaling solution is
rinsed out of the pipework. Rinsing can
take up to 5 minutes. You can now
make drinks.
