Page 11: Intended Use
The 9065 must be connected to a sample line. The connections to the flowcell are ¼” (6mm) Swagelok fittings. The dissolved oxygen must be measured in a full, flowing sample line. Using the sensor in a pipe that is not full or taking the measurement while the product is not flowing will cause errors or will it cause damage to the device. -

3 INSTALLATION CONTENT OF THE DELIVERY The 9065 is calibrated, checked and tested by Waltron before shipment and the instrument is, therefore, ready for immediate use. It is not necessary to calibrate the instrument again before it is used for the first time. -

(see Section 5.4). LOCAL AND REMOTE OPERATION Before the 9065 is used for the first time, all of the desired parameter configurations must be set locally at the transmitter. It is then possible to choose remote or local operation. The zero-point calibration should be carried out using a gas with a certified oxygen content of ≤ 0.001%. The use of nitrogen or carbon dioxide with a purity of 99.9990% (Class 5.0) is reccomended. Since the oxygen sensor measures the oxygen partial pressure, the oxygen content measured in the gas during the calibration process depends on the atmospheric pressure.
