MOD7/8
"Full Band" RF PAL Modulator
Description
The MOD7/8 is a "full-band" RF PAL mono modulator operating all channel
frequencies from VHF and UHF band. It accepts one CVBS and one L/R
audio signal and modulates them to the preferred RF output frequency.
The MOD7/8's user interface comprises two tact switches (for the channel
selection) as well as one SSD (Seven Segment Display) to display the current
working frequency. An internal PLL ensures the stability of the output
channel frequency.
The MOD7 modulator offers a loop-through circuit (for multiple modulator
interconnect) as well as an output RF level of 85dBμV.
The MOD8 does not support loop-through circuit but offers a high output
level of 100dBμV for situations where high RF level is mandatory.
