The ED2-EPT Series is automatic electric pallet truck check weighing system used to verify load weights on the move. This is not a “Legal for Trade” scale, but an economical on-board check weighing system that will allow your lift truck operator to increase vehicle utilization, increase productivity and provide the load weight readout within +/-1 to 3% of the vehicle’s lifting capacity.

This load weight value will be displayed on the indicator and stay until the next time the forks are being lowered. Mounting Location for Digital Indicator The majority of electric pallet trucks have only a limited space to add any accessories. Install the mounting bracket with the anti-vibration mount and fasten the digital indicator on the vehicle’s dashboard.

3. The majority of pressure transducer installations into the vehicle hydraulic system will require some kind of T- piece to be connected in the hydraulic line. Hydraulic hose size #10 is very common for this type of vehicles. 4. Make sure that the installed pressure transducer will not touch any moving parts or the assembly of the forklift when the vehicle is in normal operation.
Calibration / Setup Procedures Concept The ED2-EPT Series SkidWeigh systems calibration/setup procedures are very simple and consist of a two steps to complete the automatic calibration of the empty forks and loaded forks with known load weight being lifted. Note: At any point if you make a mistake, for whatever reason, turn the power to the system “off” and start all over.

Press the “M” key to advance to MODE 6, activate lift control valve and start to lift the • “Known Load Weight”; do not stop lifting cycle until digital display shows the calibrated weight. MODE Five Digits Load Weight Readout Display Digital display will go blank.
Overload Warning The ED2-EPT Series with optional overload warning features will allow the end user to enter whatever overload value is applicable for that particular forklift operation. Every time that pre-set overload value is reached, the indicator display will ”flash” and the value of the overload load weight will be shown to the operator.

The onboard printer, (NCI Mini Printer Series) is for 12 V DC operation. Printer can be powered only through IVDT Inc. wiring harness since power from the vehicle can be anywhere from 12 to 55V DC. Only through original wiring harness the printer will get 12 V DC from the ED2-SkidWeigh Series Digital Indicator, regardless of the vehicle voltage.
