    Important information Read this guide carefully. If there is anything you do not understand completely please contact your dealer. Do not lend your bicycle to anyone who is unfamiliar with it. Defects caused by inappropriate use are not be covered by warranty. The bicycle can only legally be used on the road by a person aged 1 5 years or older.

    Before first ride There are several keys attached which are related only to your battery. Choose one of them which you will use and store the other one in case of damage or loss. Learn how to release/insert the battery. Release the seat post and saddle. Unlock the battery bottom lock anticlockwise and release the key.
  • Page 15 Check the state of battery charge. The battery has been formated before sale and it is probably not completely charged so you will need to recharge it. Connect the charger to your battery first then plug the charger into the mains. Red lamp on the charger indicates the battery is charging, when the red light turns green the battery is fully charged.

    Ebike control This ebike is equipped with display which provides rider basic information during the ride. Pedal assistance system is controlled by display too. Turn the battery on by ON/OFF button on its top and then active the ebike electric system by a long press M button.
  • Page 19 To clear Trip distance hold both the M button and - button for 2 seconds. This ebike has 5 levels of assistance plus level 0 with no motor support. Each level as assistance assists rider with a different motor power. Level 1 is the lowest assistance and level 5 is the highest assistance.

    Riding the ebike Learn how to ride your bike before your first trip. It is better to find a place with low traffic for these purposes. Set assistance to level 1 . Start to pedal. You will feel motor assistance in a moment. Test brake function and effectivity - as you press any of brake levers motor turns off automatically.

    Ebike running-up It is essential to have your bike servised after 200-300 kilometres from purchase. This is a free service provided by your supplier. If this service has not been undertaken at the correct time this may cause damage to some components that will not be covered under our warranty.

    Battery care The battery is the most expensive and important part of your bike. This bike uses a lithium-ion battery (Li-Ion) with nominal voltage of 36V. It is a commonly used type of battery with a great balance of weight, capacity and life. The battery has been delivered as a part of your electric bicycle.

    5 A. It takes up to 6 hours to fully charge an empty battery. By 5 A charger it takes up to 4 hours. You can buy this charger from your AGOGS dealer. Connect the charger to your battery first then plug charger into the mains.

    Safety recommendations Battery - do not short circuit positive and negative ports of the battery - do not dismantle the battery - do not store the battery in high temperature (heat, sunshine or close to a fire) - do not power supply another device with the battery - always charge the battery with licensed charger for lithium-ion batteries - do not place the battery in fluids such as water, acid, alkaline or salt water.

    Brakes Your bike is equipped with both front and rear V-type brakes. Both brakes must begin braking in the first half of the lever lift. When you need more than the first half of the levers lift to start braking you must adjust brake position. You can use the barrels for small adjustments or you will need to adjust lenght of cable by the anchor bolt.

    Tires This electric bicycle uses 20" tires of 1 .95" width, which have been designed especially to use on ebikes. These tires offer good comfort and low rolling resistance. To inflate the tires use only a normal hand pump. Do not use air compressors which are available at gas stations.

    Rear derailleur You can use 8 different gears when riding this bike. Change the gear only when pedalling forward but never under a big load. When there is free movement of derailleur cable or the cable is too short (it is not possible to shift gear 8) adjust it by the barrel.

    Saddle This bike was delivered with a suspension saddle. You can adjust the height of the saddle and also suspension preload for increased comfort. Release the seat post clamp first. Remove the whole post with saddle from the bike. On the bottom of the post you will find an Allen key adjuster.

    Front suspension fork You can adjust the preload of the suspension. The adjuster is located on the left hand side of the fork crown. Turn the adjuster clockwise to increase the suspension preload and anticlockwise to reduce it. On the other side of crown you can lock the suspension by lever. Keep the fork stanchions (inner legs) clean.

    Maintenance of the bike Cleaning and lubrication It is essential to keep the bike clean. For cleaning use a wet house-flannel with detergent or special bike cleaner. Then dry it. Do not use a high-pressure water cleaner. Regulary lubricate chain, derailleur, brake cable and derailleur cable with light oil.

    Important information Operating range The operating range of your electric bike depends on rider weight and carrier load, road profile, weather conditions, condition of the bike, riding style and the rider's physical condition. Regular braking and accelarating, climbing steep hills, low pressure tires, dragging brakes or a heavy carrier load, all limits the operating range of the bike.

    Riding in wet conditions Your electric bike is rain and splash proof and can be used in all weathers. Do not ride the bike through floods, deep pools and mud. Do not park your bike where it is not protected against heavy rain, snow and direct sunlight (UV radiation can harm paint and colors).

    Returning the battery / Recycling Please do not put the battery pack into household waste. Containers for collecting batteries can be found wherever batteries are sold or at local collection points. This ensures batteries are disposed of correctly. You can also return the battery to your retailer.

    Rear wheel tube replacement Tools: Wrench key size 1 8 mm, Allen key size 5 mm, Tire levers Rear wheel demount Shift the smallest sprocket. 2. Turn the battery off. 3. Release plastic clamps which fix the motor wire with chain stay. Be careful not to damage wire Unplug the motor connector.

    Tube replacement 1 . Release the valve cap and deflate the tube completely by pressing down on the inner part of the valve. 2. Take a couple of tire levers (you can purchase these at your local bike store). Ease one lever in under the wheel rim and lever out the edge of the tire (taking great care not to puncture the inner tube) and pry it up over the wheel rim.
