Battery care The battery is the most expensive and important part of your bike. This bike uses a lithium-polymer battery (Li-Pol) with nominal voltage of 36V and 1 0Ah capacity. It is a commonly used type of battery with a great balance of weight, capacity and life. The battery has been delivered as a part of your electric bicycle.
Recharging the battery Lithium-polymer bateries are very vulnerable to incorrect charging. Use regular Li- Pol or Li-On battery chargers only. It is essential to use charger with 54.6V output. Some models can labeled as 48V. 48V is nominal voltage of battery and you can use this kind of charger with no problems.

charger and cells of the battery are being balanced. Keep this mode for few hours occasionally. We suggest that you to charge your battery fully after every use so the battery will be ready for next use. You can charge your battery either on the bike or released from the bike. In both cases turn the battery off with the key before charging.
Safety recommendations Battery Do not short circuit positive and negative ports of the battery Do not dismantle the battery Do not store the battery in high temperature such as heat, sunshine or close to a fire Do not power supply another device with the battery Always charge the battery with licensed charger for lithium-ion or lithium- polymer batteries Do not place the battery in fluids such as water, acid, alkaline or salt water.

Basic components Brakes Your bike is equipped with both front and rear mechanical disc brakes. Both brakes must begin braking in the first half of the lever range. When you need more than the first half of the levers range to start braking you must adjust brake pads position. Use pad adjuster knobs.

Tires Electric bicycle AGOGS Uphill Tour uses Kenda Blue Pathfinder 26" tires of 1 .95" width. These tires are designed especiallyfor country roads use. They also offer good characteristics on pavement. To inflate the tires use only a normal hand pump. Do not use air compressors which are available at gas stations.
Rear derailleur You can use 9 different gears when riding on this bike. Change the gear only when pedalling forward but never under a big load. When there is free movement of derailleur cable or the cable is too short (it is not possible to shift gear 9) adjust it by the barrel.
Saddle This bike was delivered with a suspension saddle. You can adjust the height of the saddle and also suspension preload for increased comfort. Release the seat post clamp first. Remove the whole post with saddle from the bike. On the bottom of the post you will find an Allen key adjuster.
Front suspension fork You can adjust the preload of the suspension. The adjuster is located on the left hand side of the fork crown. Turn the adjuster clockwise to increase the suspension preload and anticlockwise to reduce it. There is a blue lock-out lever on the right hand side of the fork crown.
Adjustable stem Adjust the handlebar height according to your needs. Rider position should be leaned forward on this bike. To adjust height of handlebar loosen Allen bolts highlighted in red on picture with Allen key 6 mm. Then use Allen key 4 mm to loosen green highlighted bolts.
Front and rear light AGOGS Uphill Tour is equipped with front and rear light by Spanninga with auto-light mode. Auto-light mode turns on the light when day light conditions are bad and the bike is in movement. Activate auto-light mode of front light by moving the switch to position AUTO. You can also turn on the light permanently by moving the switch to position ON.
Maintenance of the bike Cleaning and lubrication It is essential to keep the bike clean. For cleaning use a wet house-flannel with detergent or special bike cleaner. Then dry it. Do not use a high-pressure water cleaner. Regulary lubricate chain, derailleur, brake cable and derailleur cable with light oil.
Important information Operating range The operating range of your electric bike depends on rider weight and carrier load, road profile, weather conditions, condition of the bike, riding style and the rider's physical condition. Regular braking and accelarating, climbing steep hills, low pressure tires, dragging brakes or a heavy carrier load, all limits the operating range of the bike.
Riding in wet conditions Your electric bike is rain and splash proof and can be used in all weathers. Do not ride the bike through floods, deep pools and mud. Do not park your bike where it is not protected against heavy rain, snow and direct sunlight (UV radiation can harm paint and colors).
