BB7B_Manual EN_082406 8/24/06 10:14 AM Page 5 • Never smoke or allow a spark or flame in vicinity of vehicle battery, engine or battery booster. • Remove personal metal items such as rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches when working with a lead acid battery. A lead acid battery can produce a short circuit current high enough to weld a ring, or the like of a metal, causing a severe burn. -

When the Vehicle Boost LED Indicator stops flashing and lights green steadily and the unit beeps continuously, (generally, after approximately 15 minutes), the vehicle battery has been boosted. Turn the vehicle ignition and crank the engine in 5-6 second bursts until engine starts. 6. -

Press the Recharge Unit Push button. The unit will beep once again and the Battery Status LED Indicator will flash green , indicating the unit is charging . -
