Advanced remote operations
When using a Sony receiver as an amplifier in
the 2nd (or 3rd) room, the following operations
are possible:
• Switching the output source for the 2ND (or
3RD) ROOM OUT jacks.
• Switching the Sony receiver's power on or off
in the 2nd (or 3rd) room.
• Adjusting the volume of the Sony receiver in
the 2nd (or 3rd) room.
Notes
• This receiver has only 2 command modes (AV
SYSTEM 1 and AV SYSTEM 2). Therefore this
3rd pressed
receiver shound only be used as an amplifier for one
—
additional soom (2nd or 3rd room). The first
—
command mode will be used for the main room, the
second can be used for either the 2nd or 3rd room.
—
• When using this remote in the 2nd (3rd) room, be
—
sure to set each receiver (main room and 2nd (3rd)
room) to a different command mode. The reason for
—
this is that if the command modes of the two
receivers are the same, the volume of the receiver in
—
the main room will increase when you raise the
volume in the 2nd (3rd) room.
