Before removing the fan, follow these steps:

Remove the fan:
1. Detach the USB board cable from the fan (1). The cable is secured to the fan with adhesive.
2. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (2).
3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (3) that secure the fan to the computer.
4. Remove the fan (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the fan.
