TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

If you encounter the following problems while using your cooktop, check the guide below to see if you can correct the problem yourself
before calling for assistance or service:
PROBLEM
1. Power boost does not work
2. The fans keep running for one
minute after the cooking zone has been
switched off
3. "E"appears in the Power display
4. "E0"appears in the Timer display
5. "E1" appears in the Timer display
6. "E2" appears in the Timer display
7. "E3" appears in the Timer display
8. "E7" appears in the Timer display
9. "E8" appears in the Timer display
10. "E9" appears in the Timer display
11. "EE" appears in the Timer display
12. Noise

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Total power of the cooking section in
use has reached maximum rated power
of 3700W (SDH3042DB) or 4800W
(SDH3652DB).
The electronics are cooling down
Electronics fault error message of
particular cooking zone
IGBT overheating
No cookware found or improper place-
ment of cookware on the cooking zone
Supplied voltage to cooktop is too low
Supplied voltage to cooktop is too high
NTC1 Break off
NTC1 Short circuit
NTC2 Break off
NTC2 Short circuit
Noise like humming, crackling, clicking
and buzzing

SOLUTIONS
Place one item on a cooking zone in one
section, and the other item on a cooking
zone in another section. (See POWER
SHARING)
This is a normal occurrence
See E0, E1, E2, E3, E7, E8, E9, EE
Turn off unit to allow IGBT to cool.
Restart unit
Make sure that the cookware is
centered on the cooking zone, and that
it is also induction compatible. See
COMPATIBLE COOKWARE
This may be caused by reduced voltage
being supplied to the house circuit. If
connections are correct and the supplied
voltage returns to normal, the code will
disappear

being supplied to the house circuit. If the

Turn the cooktop "OFF", then turn
circuit breaker "OFF" for about 30
seconds. Turn circuit breaker "ON"
and turn the cooktop "ON" using the
POWER pad.
