Rotate the right-hand Channel
4 Selector knob to select the first
character position.
Using the keypad, enter the

desired character.
Rotate the right-hand Channel
6 Selector knob to select the next
character position.
Using the keypad, enter the next

character.
Continue with steps 6 - 7 until you
have either completed the channel

label, or all eight positions are
filled.
9 Press ENT when finished.

Rotating the channel
selector knob selects the
character position where
you want to enter a letter
or number.
Use the "1" key for Q, Z, q,
z, and space, the "0" key
for 0, and symbols + - = /
( ) * < > and @
The maximum channel
label size is eight
characters.
Stores the newly entered
channel label into the
radio's permanent
memory.
