IMPORTANT: If you feel pain in your
breast or nipple, turn the pump off (see
next page) or slide a finger between the
flange and your breast to immediately
break the suction. If you feel discomfort
at every suction level, turn the pump off
and contact your healthcare provider for
assistance.

Massage your other breast to stimulate a let-down, as before, and repeat
steps 2 through 4. If desired, massage the first breast again and repeat on
both sides to maximize expression.
Turn on the pump by turning the control
dial B clockwise to begin pumping.
To increase suction, gradually turn the
control dial clockwise to reach the level
that is most comfortable for you. To
reduce suction, turn the control dial B
counterclockwise.
Continue pumping until milk is no longer
flowing or bottle is full. Do not fill bottle
above the 5 oz/150 mL line.
After breast milk has been expressed,
turn control dial B counterclockwise until
pump unit is in the OFF position. If neces-
sary, slide a finger between the flange
and your breast to break any remaining
suction, then remove the flange.

WARNING
NEVER immerse pump unit or AC adapter in water or attempt to
sanitize in a microwave oven. Damage to parts and oven may occur.
To ensure that your breast pump performs well, follow these steps

after every use:

• Completely disassemble the flange assembly, see page 4.
• Wipe the pump unit with a clean, damp cloth.
• Rinse the flange assembly (all parts EXCEPT the pump unit and
AC adapter) in cool water to remove milk residue.
• Hand wash with warm, soapy water.
• Rinse thoroughly and air dry before assembly. You may also wash your
flange assembly (after rinsing) on the top rack of your dishwasher.
• Use care when handling the valve/membrane assembly during cleaning
to avoid damage. Visually inspect the individual components for cracks,
chips, tears, discoloration or deterioration. In the event that damage to
the device is observed, please discontinue use until the damaged parts
have been replaced.
1. After sealing your bottle tightly with the sealing disc and cap ring, label
the bottle with the date and time the milk was expressed.
2. Use the chart on the following page as a guide for storing your breast milk
for future use.
Note: In hot weather, chill milk immediately to prevent spoilage.
