  • Page 2 SETTING UP THE PATIENT ELECTRONICS SYSTEM The Patient Electronics System consists of the electronics unit and receiving antenna (encased within the pillow), and a handheld unit. Insert the power cable into the power adapter. Attach the included power cord clip onto the power adapter.

  • Page 4 CONNECTIVITY METHODS (WI-FI & TELEPHONE) continued LANDLINE TELEPHONE NOTE: If your unit is connected to Wi-Fi, and you want to connect to a landline telephone, remove the Wi-Fi adapter from the USB port. Lift up the pillow from the head rest to reveal the USB chamber. Disconnect the USB cable from the USB port.

    TAKING A READING Place the electronics unit onto a surface where you will be comfortable taking a daily reading. NOTE: Ensure that this surface is free of objects that may potentially interfere with your sensor signal such as an electric heating blanket.
  • Page 6 TAKING A READING continued Lie still. The system will guide you with voice prompts. If your position is good you will hear, “Good position on pillow. Stay still.” If you hear, “Shift slightly on pillow,” change your body position by making slight movements towards the shoulder opposite of where your sensor is located.
