Use wireless networks – If you
tick Use wireless networks,
your phone will determine your
approximate location by using Wi-
Fi and mobile networks.
Use GPS satellites – If you tick
Use GPS satellites, your phone
will be determine your location to
street-level accuracy.
< Screen unlock>
Set up screen lock – Set unlock
pattern to secure your phone.
Opens a set of screens that guide
you through drawing a screen
unlock pattern. You can set PIN or
Password instead of Pattern or
leave it as None.
< SIM card lock >
Set up SIM card lock – Set up
SIM card lock or change SIM PIN.
< Passwords >
Visible passwords – Select to
show passwords as you type them
or deselect to hide passwords as
you type them.
< Device administration >
Select device administrators –
Add or remove device
administrators.
< Credential storage >
Use secure credentials – Tick to
allow applications to access your
phone's encrypted store of secure
certificates, related passwords
and other credentials. You use
credential storage to establish
some kinds of VPN and Wi-Fi
connections. If you have not set a
password for credential storage,
this setting is dimmed.
Install from SD card – Allows
you to install encrypted certificates
from a microSD card.
Set password – Allows you to set
or change the password for your
secure credential storage. Your
password must have at least eight
characters.
