Operation

NOTE: T he control button described in this section is mainly on the
remote control unless specified otherwise.
3.1.

Watch the Connected Video Source

1. Press the [ ] SOURCE button to switch the video source
between HDMI and Android.
3.2.

Overview

1. Launcher:
• The platform launcher is a black page as shown below:
• Exit the App by pressing the "Return" key and the screen will
enter Android PD launcher.
2. Admin mode:
Admin mode allows you to setup and control the device. Press
"Menu + Volume-" on the keypad to enter the Admin mode. A
dialog box appears asking for the password. The default password is
"1234". To change the password, go to Settings > Signage Display
> System Tools > Change the Administrator Password.
The Admin mode consists of the following Apps: "Settings", "Apps",
"Network", "Storage" and "Help".
Settings Apps
1. Settings: launch the App "Settings".
2. Applications: show all Apps.
3. Network: setup Wi-Fi, Ethernet and mobile network.
4. S torage: a simple file manager for user to view the list of file
in the system.
5. H elp: a link is provided for user to get help from Philips official
website.
Note: W hen leaving from the Admin mode, the system goes back to
boot on source.
1) Settings page:
Settings: go to settings page.
Signage Display: go to signage display settings page.
2) Application page:
List all applications in this page, including user self-installed
applications.
