3. Bend tubing using industrial grade benders, check tubing fit to
ensure proper seating between the tubing and fittings. Fully ream all
tubing ends. Blow out the lines for 10
nitrogen or air prior to making the connection.
4. Connect the supply and return tubes to the analyzer using the
fittings provided.
5. Check all connections for gas leaks. SpectraSensors recommends
using a liquid leak detector.
Do not exceed 10 psig (0.7 barg) in sample cell. Damage to cell
may result.

Changing the 4-20 mA Current Loop Mode

Changing the current loop mode may negate specific hazardous
area certifications. Contact "Customer Service" on page B-11
for details.
By default, the 4-20 mA current loop output is factory set to source current. In
some instances it may be necessary to change the 4-20 mA current loop output
in the field from source to sink. The work must be performed by personnel
qualified in electronics assembly.
Hazardous voltage and risk of electric shock. Turn off and
lock out system power before opening the electronics (left side)
enclosure and servicing.

To change the 4-20 mA board from source to sink:

1. Disconnect power from the analyzer and remove the electronics (left
side) enclosure cover. Take care not to disturb the electrical
assembly inside.
2. Locate the 4-20 mA board in the upper center of the electronics
assembly, as shown in Figure 1–8.
3. Remove the jumper (JMP1), shown in Figure 2–2, connecting the
center pin to point "A."
