Connecting components with HDMI jacks

Sony recommends that you connect components to the system using HDMI cables.
With HDMI, you can easily enjoy both high quality sound and high quality images.
For details on the Control for HDMI function, refer to ""BRAVIA" Sync Features" (page 29).
Connect the AC power cord (mains lead) after you have finished connecting all components to the
system.
Connecting a TV monitor, projector, etc.
Connect the audio output of the TV to the audio input of the system using a digital optical cord or an
audio cord in order to listen to the TV sound from the system.
Note
• The OPTICAL TV IN jack has priority when you connect both the audio output of the TV to the OPTICAL TV IN
and AUDIO IN jack of the system.
