1 Introduction 3970-2x Service/Console Processor The 3970-2x Service/Console Processor is a mandatory expansion feature for the S1xx Business Server. In conjunction with the service processor it supports the operation, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of the business server, as well as TELESERVICE.
Target group Introduction The SKP variants 3970-20 and 3970-29 are connected to the S1xx Business Server via channel type S. The 3970-2x Service/Console Processor also enables remote operation of the S1xx Business Server via LAN (including a WAN connection - X.25/ISDN - for routers). In this case, operation is handled via the SKP operator terminal 3970L-31LG for German- speaking areas and 3970L-31LI for English-speaking areas.
