  • Page 2 Care must be taken at all times when handling the WS-10. A feature of the WS-10 is the exposed drive unit. Great care must be exercised at all times to ensure it is not damaged during unpacking and when finally sited in the room. Any physical damaged caused to the drive unit by not complying with this requirement will not be covered by warranty.
  • Page 3 FootFixing The WS-10 comes with 2 different types of feet to be used depending on the orientation you chose to site the WS-10 in. There are self adhesive rubber feet for fixing to the cabinet for vertical use and screw in plastic feet for use when horizontal. Also included are self taping screws to attach them.
  • Page 4 AmpPanel&Controls Volume Control This control allows the level or volume to be adjusted in order to achieve a balanced overall sound. To get the balanced sound a selection of familiar music or film excerpts will need to be played. Start with the volume at minimum and increase the level control until a balanced sound is established.
  • Page 5 For external power control from AV amplifier/ receiver to the WS-10. Monitor Audio recommend using this function when using the analogue LFE input. A 12 volt signal is supplied by the AV amp/receiver and tells the WS-10 to turn on from standby mode.
  • Page 6 When pairing with the transmitter for the first time, ensure that the transmitting device and the WS-10 are within 2 metres of each other. Turn the WS-10 on at both the mains switch and the power mode switch (not auto). The LED will flash blue and within 15 seconds turn the transmitting device on (ASB-10 or WT-1).
  • Page 7 SetUp Once the input cables are connected, the wireless transmitter and WS-10 are paired, and the controls are set in accordance with the initial set-up procedure above, the subwoofer can be re-connected to the mains power supply and switched on at the mains power switch.

  • Page 9 Is the unit receiving a signal (12v trigger not being used)? Is the Power Mode Switch in Auto or On position, and signal source turned on? Try adjusting the volume level of the source. If it still does not turn on/ power up, please contact your local dealer/ distributor or Monitor Audio immediately. No sound from subwoofer.
