PUMP DESCRIPTION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF SIDE CHANNEL PUMPS The MODULAR V pumps are vane pumps, horizontal multistage magnetic drive. Airtight construction, with internal cartridge full extension, with magnetic drive meets the requirements of work safety, functional safety and environmental protection. Conceptually they are constituted by a rotor, within which slide radially in four blade tribological material, placed at the periphery by a said stator ring, which has as peculiarity the fact of having a cam profile on the inside. -

Ensure that the heated air from other units does not affect the pump; the air temperature must not exceed M PUMPS 40 °C, for higher temperatures contact your distributor ; ensure also the free circulation of air cooling of at least ¼... -

Fully open the inlet valve and fill the pump and suction line; Ensure there are no obstacles to the free rotation of the pump impeller. M PUMPS series V MODULAR are not ROTATION SENSE: reversible so the rotation cannot be reversed. -

By carrying out the functions mentioned in the previous section and all controls listed in the register maintenance, the pump is ready for use. Self-priming pumps and non self-priming pumps V MODULAR pumps are self-priming: Make sure the pump is always filled with the pumping liquid to maintain the self-priming feature. -

Before starting work you must check that: All maintenance actions were properly carried out according to the time intervals set by M PUMPS There are no damaged parts of the pump; All the warning stickers and safety licence plates are present and in good condition and are operating the emergency stop buttons (check through a test). -
